Iltutmish, who ruled the Delhi Sultanate from 1211 to 1236, is widely credited with establishing a more organised monetary system. He introduced or standardised the silver tanka and the copper jital, which became important denominations in the Sultanate’s currency system. Therefore, option A is correct. Balban is remembered mainly for strengthening royal authority and administration, not for introducing these standard coin denominations. Firoz Shah Tughlaq ruled much later and is associated with public works and administrative measures, while Ibrahim Lodi was the last Lodi ruler and belonged to a later period. The coin names should therefore be linked with Iltutmish.

Babur won the battle, using effective field tactics and artillery, and this victory established Mughal power in northern India. Hence option A is correct. Akbar and Hemu fought at the Second Battle of Panipat in 1556. Babur and Rana Sanga fought at the Battle of Khanwa in 1527, not Panipat. Sher Shah and Humayun were rivals in a later struggle, but neither option describes the First Battle of Panipat.
