The Russian Social Democratic Workers Party was influenced by which ideology?

Correct answer: Marxism

The governing concept is Marxist socialism and its interpretation of society through class relations. The Russian Social Democratic Workers Party was formed by socialists who drew on Karl Marx’s ideas about capitalism, exploitation, class struggle, and the historical role of workers. Its members debated methods and organisation, later producing the Bolshevik and Menshevik groups, but both emerged within the socialist movement. Conservatism generally defended established traditions, monarchism supported rule by a king or tsar, and feudalism described an older land-based social order rather than the party’s ideology. Thus option C, Marxism, is correct.
