Why does the Prime Minister coordinate the Council of Ministers?

Correct answer: So different ministries work in one government direction

Correct answer: A. Different ministries handle different subjects, such as education, health, transport or finance. Their work can affect one another, so the government needs a common direction. The Prime Minister coordinates the Council of Ministers by linking departments, settling differences, guiding policy and helping ministers work toward the government’s agreed programme. Coordination does not mean that every minister loses responsibility; each minister remains responsible for the assigned department while working within the overall policy of the government. Option B is wrong because coordination does not end judicial power. Option C is wrong because Parliament must remain free to question the government. Option D is wrong because coordination has no connection with stopping a presidential election. Memory cue: the Prime Minister acts like the government’s central coordinator, keeping separate departments moving together.
