Ministers in government are considered responsible for what?

Correct answer: Making policy and running departments

Correct answer: A, making policy and running departments. Ministers are members of the political executive. They are assigned departments such as education, health, finance, or transport and guide the work of those departments. They help formulate government policies, take decisions with the Council of Ministers, answer questions in the legislature, and remain politically responsible for their department’s actions. B is wrong because judges and courts write and deliver judicial judgments independently. C is wrong because conducting examinations is not the general responsibility of every minister; it may be a limited administrative activity of a particular department. D is wrong because a minister’s public office is for serving the government and people, not for carrying out private business as the department’s function. Memory cue: ministers provide political direction and accountability; officials assist with administration.
