If election result is announced by authority before counting which condition is broken?
Answer and explanation
The direct answer is D: correct and credible counting. In a democracy, voters express their choice through votes, and the result must be decided only after those votes are counted honestly and accurately. The reasoning is simple: first citizens vote, then officials securely count the votes, then the candidate with the required highest support is declared elected. If an authority announces the result before counting, the announcement cannot be based on the actual votes. Therefore the credibility and fairness of counting are destroyed. Option A, freedom of campaign, concerns whether candidates can present their ideas; the situation mainly concerns counting, not campaigning. Option B, candidate eligibility, concerns whether a person is legally allowed to contest; nothing here says that eligibility rules were broken. Option C, voter education, concerns helping citizens understand voting and issues; it is not the central problem. Option D is correct because a result announced before counting ignores the essential evidence of voters' choices. Memory cue: vote first, count honestly, announce last.
