Whom does the Prime Minister lead?
Answer and explanation
Correct answer:सही उत्तर: The Council of Ministersमंत्रिपरिषद
Correct answer: A. The Prime Minister is the leader of the Council of Ministers. The Prime Minister selects or recommends ministers according to constitutional and political arrangements, allocates or coordinates responsibilities and leads the government in Parliament and administration. The Council of Ministers works collectively under the Prime Minister’s leadership and is responsible for advising the President. Option A is correct because it names the body directly led and coordinated by the Prime Minister. Option B is wrong because the Supreme Court is headed by the Chief Justice and belongs to the judiciary. Option C is wrong because the Election Commission is an independent constitutional authority responsible for elections, not a body led by the Prime Minister. Option D is wrong because the Rajya Sabha is a House of Parliament; its proceedings are presided over by the Chairman, who is the Vice-President, not by the Prime Minister. Memory cue: Prime Minister leads the ministers; the Speaker or Chairman presides over the Houses of Parliament.सही उत्तर: A।
