Which thing was included in forest products for forest dwellers?

Correct answer: Fuel wood

The direct answer is A: fuel wood. Forest products are things obtained from forests and used by people for living, household work, food, fuel, fodder, tools, medicine, or income. Forest dwellers and rural communities commonly collected dry wood for cooking and heating. They could also gather leaves, fruits, roots, honey, fibres, grass, and other products, depending on the local forest. Step by step: ask whether the item comes from a forest and whether it can serve a forest-dependent community; fuel wood satisfies both conditions. Option A is correct because wood is a direct forest product and an important household need. Option B, a railway ticket, is a purchased document issued by a transport system, not something collected from a forest. Option C, sea salt, is associated with coastal or salt-producing areas; it is not the forest product intended in this question. Option D, cotton cloth, is a manufactured product made by processing cotton and weaving it; it is not directly collected as a forest product. The wider historical point is that colonial forest laws often restricted access to such everyday materials, causing hardship for people who depended on forests. Do not think only of timber sold in markets; forest products also include small, daily-use materials. Memory cue: forest product means “something the forest gives,” such as fuel, fruit, fodder, leaves, or honey.
