The facts, reports, explanations, and information presented in a television news programme are the content being communicated. In the communication cycle, this content is called the message. The news organisation or anchor may act as the sender, the television is the medium or channel, and the viewer is the receiver. Since the question asks about the content itself, option D is correct.
