Body Composition Metrics
In Class 11 Physical Education, Body Composition Metrics introduces students to ways of assessing the proportions of fat, muscle, bone, and other components in the human body. As part of Test, Measurement, and Evaluation, students learn the purpose and basic interpretation of measures such as Body Mass Index (BMI), waist–hip ratio, and body-fat assessment. The topic also develops awareness of healthy body composition, measurement limits, and the need to interpret results carefully rather than relying on a single value.
