Moral Courage and Fair Play

Moral courage is the willingness to uphold what is right when doing so involves pressure, fear, loss of approval, or possible disadvantage. Option A is the clearest example: the learner resists the team’s pressure and refuses cheating, choosing honesty and fair play over an easier result. Option B accepts unethical benefit rather than resisting it. Option C allows fear to control behaviour and breaks the rules. Option D conceals wrongdoing instead of taking responsibility. In physical education, moral courage strengthens integrity, respect for regulations, trust among participants, and the ethical purpose of competition.
