The idea of respecting all religions in Ashoka’s Dhamma is linked with which value?
Answer and explanation
Respect for different religious beliefs is an example of tolerance, or the willingness to live peacefully with people whose views may differ from one’s own. Ashoka’s inscriptions encourage restraint in criticizing other sects and suggest that understanding and respect strengthen harmony. This principle is ethical and social, not a form of greed, warfare or rejection of writing. Therefore, option A correctly names the value connected with the idea.
