Nature-based painting in Class 10 Art Education develops the ability to observe and interpret natural forms through the study of nature. Students learn to notice proportion, line, shape, texture, colour, light, space and perspective in landscapes, plants, animals and other surroundings. They practise making observation sketches, arranging balanced compositions and transforming visual references into expressive paintings. The topic also introduces thoughtful use of artistic materials and techniques while encouraging creativity, patience and sensitivity toward the natural world.
