In this Class 10 Art Education topic, students explore how regional wall paintings reflect local history, beliefs, community life, symbols, colours and visual traditions. They study the relationship between mural art, its cultural setting and the surfaces or materials used, then develop a small design or painting inspired by responsible observation rather than simple copying. As part of Project Work and Portfolio, students practise planning, sketching, documenting sources, explaining artistic choices and presenting their finished work clearly.
