Painting composition introduces Class 10 students to the thoughtful arrangement of lines, shapes, colours, forms and space within a painting. As part of Practical Art Work in Art Education, students learn how to create balance, proportion, emphasis, rhythm and a clear focal point while developing an effective visual layout. They practise observing a subject, planning thumbnail sketches, selecting suitable colours and organising details before completing a finished artwork. The topic strengthens creative thinking, visual expression and confidence in presenting an original composition.
