Option A is correct because Nazi ideology connected militarism, territorial expansion and the idea of Lebensraum, or living space. The Nazis claimed that Germany needed more land and resources for its allegedly superior racial community, especially in Eastern Europe. War was therefore presented not as a tragedy to be avoided but as a means of national revival, racial domination and imperial growth. This reasoning also treated the people living in targeted territories as inferior and disposable. Options B, C and D do not fit Nazi policy: the regime did not place peace first, did not seek democratic expansion and did not aim to abolish borders. It sought a powerful, militarised and expanding German empire.
