What would be the most expert answer to the question Did women have their own revolution?

Answer and explanation

Correct answer: Women fought socially politically and ideologically but full political equality came late

A balanced answer must recognise both women’s action and the limits placed on it. Women took part in social protest, political organisation, public debate, and ideological arguments during the Revolution. They demanded changes in work, education, family life, and citizenship. At the same time, revolutionary authorities restricted independent women’s organisations and did not grant full political equality in 1789. Their struggle therefore had real achievements and serious setbacks. Political equality came only after a much longer historical process.

Option A is correct because it includes activism, different areas of struggle, repression, and the delayed arrival of full equality. Option B denies women’s documented participation. Option C makes the opposite mistake by claiming that all rights arrived immediately. Option D falsely limits women to the royal family. The expert interpretation is neither complete success nor complete failure, but a sustained struggle whose results were partial and delayed.
