How was the relation between law and repression visible in Nazi rule?

Legal orders gave repression a lawful form

Nazi repression was not based only on secret violence; the regime also used decrees and statutes to give coercion an official appearance. The Reichstag Fire Decree suspended civil liberties, while the Enabling Act weakened parliamentary control and allowed the government to legislate without normal constitutional checks. Laws and administrative orders then enabled arrests, the banning of political organisations, control of the press and persecution of targeted groups. A legal label did not make these measures democratic or just, but it helped the regime claim authority and make repression systematic. Option A is correct because law was used to legitimise and organise political persecution, rather than to stop repression or protect opposition.
