The famous Upper Lake of Bhopal is also known by which name?
Answer and explanation
Bhopal’s Upper Lake is also known as Bhojtal. It is a historic and important water body associated with Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The lake has long served as a significant urban water resource and is commonly mentioned in Indian geography and general knowledge as a major feature of the city.
Option A is correct because “Bhojtal” is the alternate name of Bhopal’s Upper Lake. Sambhar Lake is a famous salt lake in Rajasthan, Loktak Lake is in Manipur, and Pulicat Lake lies along the Andhra Pradesh–Tamil Nadu coastal region. These alternatives belong to different places and therefore do not fit the city clue. The supplied answer A is accurate, and remembering “Bhopal–Bhojtal” is an effective study association.
