At which famous confluence does the Yamuna meet the Ganga?
Answer and explanation
The Yamuna joins the Ganga at Prayagraj. This confluence is known as the Triveni Sangam because the Saraswati is traditionally believed to meet the Ganga and Yamuna there. Devprayag is different: it is where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda meet to form the Ganga. Exam tip: associate Prayagraj with the Ganga-Yamuna confluence and Triveni Sangam.
