Bringing the activities of different departments together is an example of which function?

Correct answer: Coordination

Coordination connects the activities of different people or departments so that they work toward a shared objective without unnecessary conflict or delay. Bringing departments together is therefore coordination. Recruitment selects employees, selling exchanges products for payment, and storage keeps goods; these activities do not express the central idea of linking departmental work.
