Why is the relation between art and value education different from merely preaching?

Art makes values felt through experience and visual form.

The governing concept is experiential value education. A spoken lesson may tell students that cooperation, honesty, compassion, or care for nature is important, but an artwork can make such values visible and emotionally understandable. A story, image, role-play, poster, or group project lets learners observe consequences, identify with people, discuss choices, and reflect on their own behaviour.
