Which option shows light-source inconsistency for form?

A believable form drawing requires one consistent light direction. The highlight marks the area receiving the strongest light, while the form shadow develops on the less illuminated side; a cast shadow generally extends away from the light source. If the highlight and the main shadow are both placed on the same side without a special reflected-light explanation, the lighting logic conflicts. Option A therefore shows inconsistency. Options B, C, and D describe relationships that normally support a coherent light source: the highlight is on the light-facing side, the shadow is away from the source, and the cast shadow falls in the opposite direction. Consistency matters more than simply making isolated dark and light marks.
