Which lines are useful to show a path in a drawing?

The governing concept is directional line combined with perspective. The two edge lines of a road or pathway guide the viewer’s eye from the foreground toward the distance. They may be wider apart near the viewer and gradually closer together farther away, which gives the path both direction and depth. Option A is correct because edge lines organise the route and show where it recedes. Unordered dots do not provide a continuous boundary or reliable direction. Round faces are unrelated to path construction, and lines with no direction cannot guide the eye or describe the route. A path can be curved, straight, narrow, or wide, but its boundary lines should communicate movement through space. This is why perspective is especially useful in path drawing.
