Story writing is literary art because it uses language to create characters, events, settings, conflict and meaning. A writer arranges words into sentences and paragraphs, develops a plot and may use dialogue, description and imagination to communicate with readers. Therefore, option B is correct. Visual art mainly communicates through visible elements such as line, colour and form; sculpture creates three-dimensional objects; and dance expresses ideas through bodily movement, rhythm and performance. A story can later be adapted into a film or play, but its original written form remains literary. The classification depends on the principal medium used to shape and communicate the work. Since written language is the central medium of a story, it belongs to literary art.
