In which art does the artist act on stage?

Correct answer: Dramatic art

Dramatic art is the art of presenting characters, situations, and ideas through acting before an audience. The performer may use dialogue, facial expression, gesture, movement, costume, voice, and stage action to communicate a story or emotion. Since the question specifically describes an artist acting on a stage, option A, dramatic art, is correct. Clay craft involves shaping clay into objects, painting creates images on a surface, and architecture designs and constructs buildings or other spaces. A stage performance may also include music, dance, scenery, or lighting, but the act of portraying a character through performance is the defining feature of drama. The key clue is “act on stage.”
