Sculpture is usually organized around a three-dimensional object, its mass, surface, volume, material, and form, although it can also relate to its surroundings. Installation art commonly arranges one or more objects, materials, sounds, lights, or images within a particular space so that the viewer experiences the environment as a whole. Option A is correct because it allows this difference without claiming that the two forms never overlap. Option B wrongly reduces both to poetry, option C denies the essential role of space in installation, and option D contradicts the three-dimensional nature of sculpture.
