Even though the total height of a figure is correct the legs look short. What may be the reason?

Answer and explanation

Correct answer: The torso has been made relatively too long

The governing concept is proportion: total height is only the overall measurement, while proportion compares the sizes of individual parts. If the torso occupies too much of that height, the remaining leg section becomes relatively short, even when the figure reaches the correct total height. Therefore, option C is correct. A small head would affect another relationship, whereas dark colours and an empty background do not change anatomical proportions.
