Which Afghan ruler defeated Humayun?

Answer and explanation

Correct answer: Sher Shah Suri

Sher Shah Suri defeated Humayun at Chausa in 1539 and at Kannauj in 1540. These victories forced Humayun into exile and allowed Sher Shah to establish Sur rule over much of North India for a period. Ibrahim Lodi had been defeated by Babur earlier, while the other listed rulers do not fit this Mughal-Sur conflict.
