Which famous work was written by Abul Fazl, the court historian of Akbar?
Answer and explanation
Abul Fazl wrote the Akbarnama, a major Persian chronicle of Akbar’s reign. Its third volume, the Ain-i Akbari, gives detailed information about the administration, army, revenue system, court, and society of the Mughal Empire. Rajatarangini, Harshacharita, and Prithviraj Raso are associated with other historical or literary traditions, not with Abul Fazl’s account of Akbar. Thus, option A is correct.
