Amir Khusrau was a prolific poet, writer and musician associated with the Delhi Sultanate and the Chishti milieu. He wrote in Persian and Hindavi and is remembered for his contribution to Indo-Persian literary and musical culture. Tax collection, naval warfare and fort building do not describe his principal historical identity, so A is correct.
