In which situation will a company's sales team need legal training?

Correct answer: Company is selling products with new health claims

The direct answer is option A: the sales team needs legal training when the company sells products with new health claims. Health-related statements in advertising or sales conversations can be regulated because customers may rely on them when making purchase decisions. The team must know which claims are supported by evidence, which wording is permitted, what disclosures are required, and what statements could mislead consumers or violate applicable rules. Option A is correct because it combines selling activity with a potentially regulated claim, so legal guidance is important. Option B, employees taking new chairs, is ordinarily an internal workplace or furniture matter and does not explain why the sales team needs training about product claims. Option C, colder weather, is a general environmental condition and does not itself create a sales-law issue. Option D, placing a plant in the shop, concerns decoration and is unrelated to health-claim compliance. The exact rules may differ by product and jurisdiction, so claims should be checked before use. Memory cue: whenever salespeople make health, safety, performance, or comparative claims, check the rules and evidence first.
