If a student includes only new topics in the plan and does not revise old topics, what is the risk?

Answer and explanation

Correct answer: Earlier learning may become weak

Learning a new topic does not automatically preserve older material. Without retrieval and spaced revision, access to earlier knowledge may become weaker, even if the student once understood it. A balanced plan therefore reserves time for both new learning and review. The risk is not that new topics become impossible, nor that review becomes unnecessary; it is the loss or weakening of previous learning.
