Which Afghan ruler defeated Humayun?

Answer and explanation

Correct answer: Sher Shah Suri

Sher Shah Suri defeated Humayun at Chausa in 1539 and again at Kannauj, or Bilgram, in 1540. These victories forced Humayun into exile and allowed Sher Shah to establish the Sur Empire in North India. Bairam Khan and Man Singh served later in Mughal contexts, while Ibrahim Lodi had died before Humayun's reign.
