Which was the first dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate?
Answer and explanation
The Mamluk dynasty, commonly called the Slave dynasty in school history, was the first dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate. It ruled before the Khaljis, Tughlaqs, Sayyids and Lodis. Qutb-ud-din Aibak began this line, while Iltutmish consolidated it. Therefore, the other three options are later Sultanate dynasties, not the first one.
