Who were among the main leaders of the Khilafat Movement?
Answer and explanation
The governing concept is leadership of the Khilafat Movement. Mohammad Ali and Shaukat Ali, popularly known as the Ali brothers, were among its principal leaders and mobilised Indian Muslims around the question of the Ottoman Caliph. Hence option A is correct. The other pairs were important figures in Indian history, but they were not the principal Ali-brother leadership associated with the Khilafat campaign.
