Why did Indians' attitude towards British rule change after Jallianwala Bagh?

Answer and explanation

Correct answer: Because people clearly saw the brutality of colonial rule

At Jallianwala Bagh on 13 April 1919, General Dyer ordered troops to fire on an unarmed gathering, causing many deaths and injuries. The event exposed the violent and repressive character of colonial rule and destroyed much of the belief that British justice would protect Indians. Consequently, public anger and opposition grew. The massacre did not bring swaraj, abolish taxes, or ban foreign cloth, so A is the only valid explanation.
