Law of conservation of energy
Law of Conservation of Energy introduces Class 9 Science students to the principle that energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be transferred or transformed from one form to another. Within Work, Energy, and Simple Machines, students connect work with changes in energy, examine kinetic and potential energy, and use everyday examples—such as a falling object or a simple machine—to trace energy changes and understand why the total energy of an isolated system remains constant.
